Catherine E. Romano

Catherine E. Romano, Esq., brings a wealth of legal expertise and a dedication to serving clients with compassion and proficiency. Admitted to the New York Bar in July 2016, with a focus on appellate practice within the Second Department, Catherine earned a Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in May 2015. During her time at Touro, Catherine showcased her commitment to excellence, receiving the CALI Award for their outstanding performance in the Family Law Clinic and earning the Exemplary Contributions to Student Life Award in 2015.

Prior to her legal career, Catherine laid a solid foundation with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Long Island University/C.W. Post Campus. Her academic prowess was recognized with the C.W. Post Recognition Award Scholarship, and they actively participated in various extracurricular activities, including serving as Parliamentarian for the Student Government Association.

With a diverse array of professional experiences, Catherine has honed their skills across various legal settings. As an associate attorney with Picarello and Saciolo, PLLC, Catherine demonstrates proficiency in navigating Supreme Court and Family Court proceedings throughout Long Island and surrounding counties. Notably, Catherine conducted oral arguments before the Appellate Division, Second Department, showcasing her appellate advocacy skills.

Catherine’s commitment to continuous improvement is evident in her pursuit of additional qualifications, including pending licensure as a New York State Licensed Divorce Mediator. Outside the courtroom, Catherine finds joy in baking, reading, and enjoying the company of her dogs at the beach. Her dedication to the legal profession is further exemplified by their memberships in esteemed organizations such as the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association and the NYS Council on Divorce Mediation.
